Cancer is complex, but so are our sexualities. All the participants in the videos on this website have had recent experiences of cancer, either as a patient, a carer, or in one case both. The stories that people told cover a huge range of personal experiences and the emotions. But the one thing all participants had in common was identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual or queer. Through his site, we hope to demonstrate the range of ways in which sexuality impacts on people’s experiences of cancer care. Sometimes it is affirming, sometimes it is disturbing. Sometimes it is funny, and at other times quite sad. We invite you to watch these videos, reflect, and engage in conversations with work colleagues, family and friends. You can join in the conversation on twitter using the hashtag #LGBcancer and there is also a  further reading/resources section where you can read more on this topic or find local and online support groups.
